According to the convertible bond prospectus previously disclosed by the company, Huitian New Materials plans to issue no more than 850 million yuan of convertible bonds for the Guangzhou Huitian Communication Electronic New Material Expansion Project, the lithium battery electrode adhesive project with an annual output of 51,000 tons, and supplementary Liquidity.
According to the plan, after the completion of the Guangzhou Huitian Communication Electronic New Material Expansion Project, it will produce adhesive products such as single and two-component silicone, UV adhesive (ultraviolet light curing adhesive), epoxy adhesive, thermal conductive material, electronic/chip encapsulation adhesive, etc. The total production capacity About 39,300 tons/year. Huitian Xincai said that after the completion of the project, it will help to further expand the business of adhesives and new materials for electronic appliances, especially the communication electronics industry, improve the company’s main business layout, enhance its scale and technological advantages, and improve its sustainable development capability. The announcement also disclosed that the company will produce lithium battery negative electrode adhesive products after the completion of the 51,000-ton lithium battery electrode adhesive project. According to reports, the project will be constructed in two phases. After the completion of the first phase, the new production capacity will be 15,000 tons/year, the second phase will increase by 36,000 tons/year, and the two phases will add a total of 51,000 tons/year. Huitian Xincai said that the company will rely on the existing marketing channels in the field of automobiles and lithium batteries to develop a sales network in the field of new energy vehicles and energy storage batteries, and promote the rapid introduction of water-based adhesives for lithium batteries to the market.
The 2022 semi-annual report disclosed by Huitian New Materials on the evening of August 8 shows that in the first half of 2022, the company achieved revenue of 1.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.83%; net profit attributable to the parent was 182 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.32%.
