At 17:09 on June 21, 2022, Huaneng Gansu’s first “wind-solar-storage integration” project was officially connected to the grid and put into operation at the Anbei Wind Farm of Huaneng Jiuquan Wind Power Company, and entered the trial operation stage. The first integrated wind-solar-storage project in Gansu Province.
The Huaneng Anbei Wind and Storage Integration Project was built by Huaneng Jiuquan Wind Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huaneng Gansu Energy Development Co., Ltd. The project site is located in the 200 MW wind farm in Area C, Huaneng Anbei, Guazhou County, Jiuquan City. Complementary 50MW photovoltaic and 10MW/20MWh energy storage system, connected to Huaneng Anlu 330kV booster station, and the 200MW wind power project in Huaneng Anbei 3 C area to form a wind-solar-storage integration project, which will be directly regulated by the province; after the project is put into operation, it will be Connected to Huaneng Hexi Regional Smart Operation and Maintenance Center to implement remote control and production operation. After the project is put into operation, the average annual power generation will reach 112.8749 million kWh.
The completion and commissioning of this project has filled many gaps in the field of new energy in Gansu Province. Huaneng Jiuquan Wind Power Company has also developed from a single wind power enterprise into a new energy enterprise with diversified wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage. It has taken a big step forward in cutting-edge technology, and has accumulated experience, trained teams and reserved technologies for Huaneng to build two new energy bases in Longdong and Hexi. Huaneng will actively participate in the planning and construction of the large base project in Hexi based on the integrated wind-solar storage project, and contribute to the comprehensive promotion of green energy construction in Gansu Province and the realization of higher-quality, more efficient and more sustainable development. The goal of “carbon peak” and “carbon neutrality” is striving forward.
This year, Guazhou County has continued to promote the construction of a stable power supply base led by wind and solar power and supporting thermal power, exploring the implementation of innovative projects such as hydrogen energy utilization, shared energy storage, and data centers, actively cultivating new energy It aims to build a “National New Energy Demonstration Base” and a “National Coal Power Transmission Base” to provide a demonstration platform for the high-quality development of energy in the province and even the whole country. So far, the county’s installed energy capacity has reached 10.94 million kilowatts, including 8.5 million kilowatts of wind power, 440,000 kilowatts of photovoltaics, and 2 million kilowatts of peak-shaving thermal power. The power generation projects under construction are 6.53 million kilowatts, of which: thermal power 2 million kilowatts, wind power 3.35 million kilowatts, photovoltaic 1.08 million kilowatts, and solar thermal 100,000 kilowatts. Among the 59 regulated enterprises in the county, 33 are energy enterprises, accounting for 56%. (Zhu Dandan Wu Hongwei)
