The price increased by 5.86% during the week and the price increased by 15.76% over the same period last year.
The caustic soda commodity index on July 15 was 82.01, an increase of 2.15 points from previous day, a decrease of 60.36% from the cycle highest point of 206.87 points (2017-11-14), and an increase of 25.96% from the lowest point of 65.11 on October 9, 2020. The price of caustic soda in Hebei increased, and the mainstream ex-factory price of 32% caustic soda was 600-700 RMB/ton. It was expected that caustic soda would continue to go up in the future.
Downstream: Due to the good demand for caustic soda from downstream alumina, caustic soda manufacturers were actively shipping the products, the trading atmosphere was fair, and the price of caustic soda was mainly going up.
