Standard Industries, Inc. and the largest manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing materials in North America, will build the company’s fifth polyisocyanurate (Polyiso) insulation manufacturing facility in Peru, Illinois. The project is expected to create 70 jobs.

The company will purchase more than 100 acres in Bureau County to house a future 450,000-square-foot facility to manufacture GAF’s line of EnergyGuard™ products. It is expected to break ground in the third quarter of this year and start production in 2024.
